It is the ultimate reality and it is there even if you try to deny or, you try not to care about it. Note that you do not need to be a bad person to engage in office politics. Those people who do politics are not bad, but rather smart.

The best strategy for office politics is to play with it. You are unable to avoid it even if you do not want to engage. You will be much better off if you know it exists, it applies and you have the skills to cope with it or even master it.
